This new title is due to be published in October 2015:
On Sunday 23 August, following his talk in York on THE MYTHOLOGY OF RICHARD III, John visited Sheriff Hutton Castle ruins and Sheriff Hutton Church with Richard’s great ... niece, Vanessa Roe.
And it seems that the Sherriff Hutton visit might lead to a new Richard III-based commemorative project.
John is also exploring another possible research project related to Richard III.
So please watch this space!
John would like to thank all those people who have quietly campaigned for him - and Philippa Langley - to receive this national honour. He is absolutely delighted that their key role in bringing about the discovery and identification of the remains of Richard III has now been formally recognised in this wonderful way.
There is a new article on Dr. John Ashdown-Hill's work at the Clarence vault at Tewkesbury.
Available in Issue 302 (May 2015) Archaeology magazine, out now.
